Timber processing
Muupuu's warehouse contains a wide selection of thick live edge boards and timber in various sizes. If required, we can further process the timber before collection.
We can resaw, edge and plane the timber closer to the form you need, so you can continue your own work with less preparation.
Edging
Many of our boards are intentionally left with their natural edges.
This preserves the full width of the timber, its natural shape and its possibilities for the next maker.
Once the intended use is known, the board can be edged to the required width.
Planing
We can joint and thickness-plane boards and planks to the required dimensions, preparing them for furniture making, construction or interior projects.
Resawing and Other Preparation
When needed, we can, for example:
- Cut timber to custom lengths
- Split wide boards into narrower pieces
- Prepare blanks for further machining
