Pricing and quality
- Prices are average prices per cubic metre for timber of average quality, mainly sawn using a frame saw and sold directly from our stock.
- All timber has been stacked and air-dried outdoors for several years, unless otherwise stated.
- A 10% discount applies to freshly sawn timber less than one year old.
- Special dimensions and unique characteristics may increase prices, while defects may reduce them.
- Square-edged boards and planks are priced the same per cubic metre as live edge boards and slabs.
- "Special dimensions" refers to timber sizes that are rarely available from standard timber suppliers.
- Live edge boards and slabs range in length from 2 metres to over 6 metres. The longest logs are 8 metres.
- All timber is Finnish, sourced from our own forests, mainly in Hämeenkyrö and Sastamala.
- Almost all timber was felled and processed by us more than 10 years ago.
- Live edge boards and slabs are measured using their average width and thickness.
- VAT (25.5%) will be added to the prices, along with any applicable packaging, sawing, planing and sorting costs.
